The execution of the massive drone show by BotLab Dynamics became the highlight of the evening at the opening of Wings India 2026. The show utilised a drone swarm to create a spectacular aerial display in the sky. Wings India 2026 drone show was a brilliant sequel to the Wings India 2025 drone display executed by BotLab. Hyderabad’s Begumpet Airport was in for a treat, as a synchronized swarm of drones took to the skies! This was a demonstration of the precision of Made-in-India technology at India’s biggest civil aviation event.

Wings India 2026 by the Ministry of Civil Aviation

The annual Wings India summit is the most significant conference in Indian civil aviation circles. The summit allows industry and government stakeholders to come together to refine the future vision for domestic aviation.

The event was organised by:

  • The Ministry of Civil Aviation
  • Airports Authority of India
  • Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry

The Wings India 2026 event was a big stage with a global audience and foreign dignitaries, with no margin for error. BotLab Dynamics delivered in style, with a drone show showcase of Indian technological advancements in more ways than one.

The Wings India drone show gave us a tremendous opportunity to showcase Indian innovation and artistry to a global audience. A BotLab drone show is a confluence of technological mastery as well as artistic vision. As leaders of the Indian drone show industry, we were showcasing two aspects of our craft. One one hand, we were demonstrating the accuracy and reliability of our in-house swarm technology. On the other hand, we were showcasing our storytelling capability. As drones took to the sky in a spectacular swarm of light on the night of 28th January 2026, we once again proved why BotLab is known as a global player!

  • Wings India 2025 Drone Show by BotLab Dynamics

Once you’ve witnessed a drone show live, you will keep coming back for more. This is not us tooting our own horn - just ask our very satisfied clients! Wings India was another such event, wherein BotLab had already flown a viral drone show back in 2025. The theme then was the evolution of aviation. We created 3D models of early to modern airplanes, blimps and hot air balloons, and everything in between! We were determined to create a better and bolder show for Wings India 2026!

  • BotLab Dynamics as Drone Show Experience Curator

BotLab Dynamics is not simply a drone show company. We’re experience curators, with the drone show being the core experiential layer of a bigger immersive experience. The company has a robust team that holds strong expertise in both the technical and creative aspects of the craft. It is not for nothing that BotLab Dynamics won the award for Best Storytelling at the International Drone Show Competition. The Wings India drone show was not simply about the striking visuals in the night sky. We layered it with immersive sound design and a pilot-style voiceover that took the spectators on a journey as though they were on a flight themselves!

  • Wings India 2026 Drone Show Highlights

The show began with an airplane window opening with the Char Minar silhouette appearing. The pilot announced an imminent touchdown at Begumpet airport, and we were off to (literally) a flying start.

A drone show airplane became the storytelling tool for India’s journey from regional to domestic to international levels. The next formation featured an aeroplane taking off from a modern airport. The airplane flew over the map of India before circling around the globe. This formation was to signify the success of UDAN. This mimicked the journey of India's common man, taking the spectator from the local to the global.

The achievements of Indian civil aviation were highlighted next through motion-led storytelling - multimodal connectivity, women pilots, sustainable aviation and digitisation of services.

We showcased an airplane being manufactured in the sky, highlighting our Made in India credentials. This was, after all, a value as close to our hearts as the government’s. The Indian national flag fluttering high and proud closed out the show - a personal favourite of ours. The pilot announced our arrival into a New India, as the story and our drones touched down successfully.

There are many drone show companies popping up now in India, but only one is trusted enough to take on mass events. In the last 4 years, only BotLab Dynamics has executed large-scale drone shows across India for any government or corporate event. This sounds like a big claim, but we assure you that a simple Google search will back us up! This is a quiet but true indicator of reliability and quality. BotLab is proud to have been part of several milestones in cultural and technological storytelling for India on a global stage. The Wings India drone show was simply one example. In fact, BotLab Dynamics is the only Indian drone company to be chosen by foreign governments for their national celebrations!

  • BotLab Dynamics At Amravati Drone Summit 2024

We set 5 Guinness World Records in one spectacular path-breaking show at the International Drone Summit in 2024. 5500 drones were taken to the sky as an autonomous swarm for the Ministry of Civil Aviation. They charted human flight as not only a historic journey, but also an imaginative one. This was the largest number of world records set in a single drone light show in the world! The Amravati drone show made waves worldwide as a marker of India’s engineering capabilities.

  • Telangana Global Rising Summit Drone Show by BotLab Dynamics

The Government of Telangana held a large-scale tech-first event for Vision 2047. The event involved the use of innovative technology, including robotic greeters and 3D projected visuals to keep the audience entertained. The finale showstopper was none other than the Telangana drone show executed using a total of 3,000 drones. It was here that we broke our 7th Guinness World Record! (We had achieved our 6th at Mysore Dasara in October 2025.)

  • Somnath Drone Show 2026 at Somnath Swabhiman Parv

The occasion of Somnath Swabhiman Parv marked 1000 years after the temple was attacked by invaders. To celebrate this resilience of faith, a massive BotLab drone show was held at the Somnath Temple in Gujarat, which had the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on its attendees list.

The Somnath drone show went viral even before the drones had landed. 3000 drones made 3D recreations of beloved icons of worship, like Lord Shiva, a Shivling and the magnificent Somnath temple itself.

Cultural drone shows have the capability to successfully portray the hybrid nature of Indian ethos through the use of a drone fleet. Such a drone show can extraordinarily get the fact across that tradition and modernity walk hand-in-hand. The incredible power of larger-than-life cultural storytelling, where the sky itself celebrates our beloved gods and goddesses, often moves spectators to tears. As storytellers, there is nothing more rewarding to us than these evocative responses from our audience.

  • Oman Accession Day Drone Show by BotLab Dynamics

BotLab officially marked its entry into the Middle East with a 3000-drone show that ran for 45 minutes on 11th Jan, 2025. This was made possible with 3 takeoffs back-to-back. This extended a typical drone show runtime without detection by the spectators. The Sultan’s portrait was a highlight and the most widely reshared image from that evening! Successfully executing the Oman drone show was a huge milestone for Indian tech, as the region is famous for high-quality large-format storytelling.

  • BotLab Executed Africa’s First Drone Show in Djibouti -

Djibouti's 45th Independence Day drone show which took place on 26th June, 2022, was our first outside India. This was commissioned by the Djibouti government. Our Made-in-India tech was trusted over a French competitor to execute Africa's first show! Even for a long while after, we held the record for Africa's biggest drone show as well. Drones painted the sky in the Djibouti colours and brought their vision of national pride to life. Djibouti drone show in Africa by an Indian drone company abroad - yet another feather in BotLab's cap!

Conclusion: Drone Shows Are the New Must-Have for Public Events

There are several reasons why governments and corporations prefer drone light shows for their events. High area of visibility, organic viral traction, media attention and public intrigue come as a package along with drone shows. The impact extends beyond the event audience, to a radius of 4-5 km around the venue to bystanders, and then even further, on social media.

Drone shows themselves are however technically complex. They often require real-time problem-solving and recalibration depending on the location. This is where BotLab Dynamics scores over any other drone show provider! Since all hardware and software is developed and designed completely in-house, we have complete operational control over every aspect of our tech. BotLab's stellar track record of 500+ shows worldwide has proven this over and over! Experience it for yourself by getting a quote for your event today.
