BotLab Dynamics is proud to announce that we have broken our 7th Guinness World Record at the Telangana Rising 2047 Summit in Hyderabad! This was done with the honourable chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy in attendance. This is the second Guinness World Record we have broken this year - our 6th World Record had come just over a month ago at the Mysore Dasara 2025. All of these international records are being set with our indigenously developed Made in India drone technology, a fact BotLab Dynamics is immensely proud of!

Telangana Rising 2047 Summit in Hyderabad

The rise of Telangana as a business and investment hub has been spearheaded by CM Revanth Reddy. Such an ambitious vision needed a technologically advanced canvas to come alive. The whole summit utilised multimedia, interactive technologies to showcase the innovations that Telangana is embracing today. From a robot at the entrance to greet visitors to a 3-dimensional Namastey, the summit ensured the futuristic vision for Telangana 2047 was also delivered in a truly futuristic, tech-led way.

Telangana Rising Drone Show by BotLab Dynamics

The drone show was designed to reflect the Telangana Government’s vision for a Future City that would compete not with other Indian metro cities, but global cities like Tokyo and Seoul. Artificial Intelligence, smart cities, bullet train corridors, high-speed metro lines, futuristic skyscrapers were all part of the vision. This would be complemented by a concern for sustainable living and human-centric development - showcased in a plan for Musi River Development, centering women’s empowerment, emphasising farmers as the backbone of the future and celebrating youth-led initiatives. Elements that would be showcased in spectacular scale in the drone show made their appearance all around the summit venue, ensuring that no matter the medium or canvas, the vision being presented was all part of the same breathtaking narrative.

Highlight Formations of Telangana Drone Light Show

The 3D Namastey that had greeted visitors at the venue entrance now took a gigantic, spectacular shape in the sky. Next, a 3D bar graph mapping out the economy’s growth over the next 30 years rose in the sky with a surprise addition - 10 pyro drones lit up the ascending arrow of the graph! BotLab Dynamics has India’s only pyro drone fleet, and it is always a delight for our audience to experience these surprise elements that bring dramatic flair to a drone show, without the polluting and loud nature of fireworks. We use pyro drones for our shows, ensuring that we take the vision of sustainable spectacle forward - the future of experiential technology.

The scale and spectacle of a 3000-drone light show cannot be truly captured by a screen. The massive drone fleet enables us to create in three-dimensional space. Spotlight formations included a vast rolling landscape and a futuristic skyline. A towering Gandhi statue rose up behind the skyline, combining values and vision.

The beauty of drone light shows is motion-led storytelling. This was on display at the Telangana Rising drone show. We visually narrated the story of transformation of River Musi in spectacular style. A muddy River Musi with a withered tree came dramatically to life, the water running blue. The dilapidated landscape turned green, futuristic buildings rising in the skyline. This animated 3D recreation was a highlight of the show!

BotLab Dynamics also recreated the entire metro route of Hyderabad, with a bullet train emerging from the sky! Women, farmers and the youth all got dedicated drone show formations. The 2047 vision was people-centric, and we wanted to capture that accurately.

The finale was a pixel-perfect recreation of the Telangana Rising 2047 logo! A 3D globe formed in the night sky as part of the symbol that was everywhere during the summit. Then came the much awaited formation - the world's largest aerial sentence! We saved the best for last in true show business fashion.

In the past year, drone show companies all over the world have started attempting world records in different niche categories. This is a credit to the rising popularity and capability of drone light shows. Companies are growing their fleets and advancing their capabilities. Drone Show records are a way for them to draw attention to the scale of aerial storytelling they are now capable of. Lumasky and Sky Elements keep attempting records in visually stunning ways, while China holds the record for the world's biggest drone show. We're close behind on their heels, with our battle-tested Made in India technology having held the latter record back in 2024!

Why Indian Brands and Governments Want Drone Show Records

Governments and brands are keen on exploring drone show world records because it allows them an additional angle of intrigue. Indian governments in particular often compete with each other for this prestigious limelight. A headline that features a world record automatically draws attention to the event or initiative that the drone show story was about. For example, Mysore Dasara 2025 was a spectacular festival of illumination in itself. However, having a Guinness World Record for a roaring tiger is going to be a crowning achievement. It is an image that will be reshared over and over, and will be associated with the Mysore Dasara forever. The aerial sentence from the Telangana Summit will have a similar amplification effect on the message of the summit!

Guinness World Record at Telangana Rising Summit 2047

BotLab Dynamics is no stranger to breaking Guinness World Records. At one point, we had organised the world’s biggest drone show of the time, with 5500 drones. At the Amaravati Drone Summit of 2024, we set 5 Guinness World Records in one attempt. This was a drone show that made waves around the world, truly putting India on the map as a global player. Mysore Dasara 2025 was a major milestone as well.

The 7th Guinness World Record at the Telangana Rising Summit was for the longest aerial sentence formed by multirotors or drones. The previous record was created in 2191 drones in the UAE. BotLab Dynamics broke this record by a huge margin, with a 3000-drone attempt! It might seem that this is now routine to us, but the moment before a record is confirmed by the GWR Adjudicator is always nerve-wracking. In front of thousands of people, we finally got confirmation from the Adjudicator, Mr. Swapnil Dangarikar. A 7th Guinness World Record was finally ours!

Drone Shows are the New Tech Showcase

Experiential events technology is evolving fast, and drone light shows are at the forefront of the revolution.
