In a landmark moment for India's technology and entertainment landscape, BotLab Dynamics, the best drone show company in India, took to the skies of Vijayawada and made history at the Amaravati Drone Summit 2024. With 5,500 indigenously built drones lighting up the night sky in perfect harmony, we proudly secured five drone light show Guinness World Records in a single show — reaffirming our position as the biggest drone show company in India, and the only Indian drone light show company with 5X Guinness World Records to its name.

About India’s Biggest Drone Light Show: And Five World Records

The 12-minute, 48-second drone spectacle wasn’t just about scale — it was about storytelling at an unprecedented altitude. Set against the cultural backdrop of Amaravati, the drone show was a breathtaking visual journey that paid homage to Indian heritage, scientific innovation, and modern national pride.

Over the course of the show, we unveiled seven intricate formations — from a radiant rendering of the Amaravati Buddha Stupa, to the first-ever stamp released by India Post, to a soaring 3D globe and a majestic tricolour Indian flag that spanned the sky. Each frame was designed, animated, and flown by our in-house team — combining cutting-edge software, precision drone control, and artistic intent.

The five Drone Show Guinness World Records achieved were:

  • Largest Aerial Display of a Vehicle Formed by Multirotors
  • Largest Aerial Landmark Display (Amaravati Stupa)
  • Largest Aerial Planet Display (3D Globe)
  • Largest Aerial Logo Display (ICAO)
  • Largest Aerial Image of a Flag (Indian Tricolour)

These records not only put India on the global drone entertainment map but also highlight the potential of homegrown innovation in creating moments that captivate audiences worldwide.

Drone Shows: The Future of Live Entertainment

BotLab Dynamics' achievements in Vijayawada are not isolated milestones, they are stepping stones in a larger journey that is expanding across borders. In recent months, we’ve executed high-impact shows in Africa, Sri Lanka, and Oman, including a state-level celebration for Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, one of the largest drone shows in the Middle East.

Our international calendar continues to grow, with performances slated for Kuwait and other global destinations this year. Back home, we've been in the spotlight for the Maha Kumbh 2025 in the country where we orchestrated a 2,500-drone show at the world’s largest spiritual gathering, a feat that blends reverence, scale, and innovation.

More Than Just Drone Shows

At BotLab, we believe drone shows are a new language of light, movement, and meaning. We’ve evolved beyond aerial choreography into creating full-fledged multimedia experiences. Our drones can fly low-altitude, perform indoor routines, integrate pyrotechnics, and synchronise with sound, voiceovers, and large-scale AV outputs. Whether it’s launching a product, celebrating a milestone, or creating a viral cultural moment, we work closely with brands and institutions to turn the sky into their stage.

India’s Moment in the Sky

With these Guinness World Records, we’ve sparked imaginations. We’ve shown that drone shows can be more than fleeting visuals; they can be moments that people remember, celebrate, and share. And most importantly, they can be Made in India.

As we look ahead, we carry with us the energy of Vijayawada’s skies, the pride of our engineering team, and the belief that this is just the beginning. Because at BotLab Dynamics, every light we launch carries a story. Every formation we create builds a future. And every sky we light up moves the world just a little closer to wonder.
