A BotLab Dynamics indoor drone show became the highlight of the Carelon Associates Day celebration in Bangalore! The dancer-integrated drone show was performed at the Karnataka Trade Promotion Organisation, Whitefield. With a 5,000-strong audience in attendance, 30 indoor drones danced with performers for a memorable curtain-raiser act. Such a tightly dancer-integrated concept was a first for Indian live events! BotLab Dynamics was already the company behind India's first indoor drone show fleet. This seamless dancer-drone performance with the Oxygen dance group added yet another first to a rather long list!
How Are Indoor Drone Shows Different From Outdoor Shows?
BotLab Dynamics is already well-known as the Indian pioneer of drone light shows. The visibility and huge scale of outdoor shows make them impossible to miss for a good 4-5 km radius! The sky is an unlimited canvas, which makes it possible to create a variety of legible images. An outdoor drone show can have anywhere from 100-10,000 drones! This number is poised to increase as BotLab continues building more drones in pursuit of even bigger drone shows.
On the other hand, indoor venues have limited space, accommodating fewer drones. This means that storytelling here has to be around abstract shapes, colour and light play. Indoor drones have been especially designed to be integrated into artist performances. This includes dance, music or theater acts. A well-choreographed indoor act brings together human artistry and technological spectacle to create an immersive, magical experience. This is why BotLab Dynamics' in-house team of designers, performers and choreographers gives it a unique edge!
