To give an event an experience that reflects what it has to offer, BotLab Dynamics delivered a stunning drone show in Jaipur on 5th November 2026 to celebrate the launch of Skydome. This immersive experience combined drone storytelling with dome projections to create a beautiful visual experience. The event brought together leaders from the event industry and members of the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) to showcase new opportunities in live entertainment.
What is Skydome Jaipur?
Skydome, located just outside the Pink City, is India's very first permanent immersive dome. The dome combines architecture, technology, and storytelling to create a seamless canvas that can transport guests to new worlds.
As this is a unique experience that uses the building itself as part of the entertainment, the launch needed something that would complement this concept. The idea was to combine the dome with visuals in the sky.
How BotLab Dynamics Brought the Skydome Jaipur Launch to Life
BotLab Dynamics delivered a beautiful visual experience that brought together both the sky and the dome.
The drone light show and projections on the dome blended seamlessly, with each element complementing the other. As the drones performed different formations, the dome displayed corresponding animations.
The performance included a variety of themes, including traditional imagery, art and more creative visuals. One of the standout moments was the appearance of the phoenix. The dome lit up as the phoenix flew across the sky. This was followed by a universe theme with a galaxy formation, complemented by swirling visuals on the dome.
Towards the end of the performance, a glowing crown appeared above the dome, followed by the Skydome logo. This brought the experience together, combining the dome and the sky.
When Drone Light Shows Meet Immersive Technology
A standard drone light show uses the sky as a canvas for storytelling. This event took the concept a step further by incorporating another visual element.
The dome wasn't used as a background. Instead, the projections on its exterior enhanced the visuals.
This opens up some exciting opportunities for the future.
