On the 70th Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh, BotLab Dynamics lit up the skies of Bhopal with a 2000 drone show. This celebration took place in Bhopal, celebrating the official theme “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh” that was also followed in the drone light show, where the state embraced a future-driven vision while simultaneously honoring its timeless heritage, diverse culture, and remarkable leadership.
The Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day drone show was hosted at Bhopal’s iconic Lal Parade Ground. Amid tribal dance showcases, theatrical performances, and a live concert by renowned artists, the drone light show became the highlight of the night. It was a technological salute to the state, celebrating the heart of India from its ancient civilizational brilliance to the innovation-led growth.
Thousands gathered around to witness the Bhopal drone show inside and around the venue, flooding the internet with the footage from the show. The cheers and appreciation for the formations was heard all around, when the city roared with pride for their state.
Madhya Pradesh Sthapana Diwas Drone Show: Formations That Defined the Celebration
Each aerial formation crafted by our drone swarm represented the aspirations, identity, and ethos of Madhya Pradesh. Let’s take a walk through the narrative that our team collaboratively created with the Madhya Pradesh’s Science and Technology Team. The spectacle features a sequence of images that resonated with the public earning emotional reactions which led hundreds to record and share the experience.

Performed on 1st and 2nd November, our Bhopal drone shows became the talk of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebration garnering media attention across locally and on national outlets. Influencers and audiences shared their joy online as well. Here are some of the formations that were loved by the crowd.
1. India Map Outline
The drone light show began with a radiant display of our country’s map, reminding the audience of Indian unity and strength. Slowly, the formation shimmered with the hues of the tricolour and the crowd cheered as it witnessed a visual tribute to India.
2. Madhya Pradesh Map
As soon as the national frame zoomed into the heartland forming a meticulous Madhya Pradesh district-level map in the sky, highlighting its cultural diversity, administrative depth, and subtly acknowledging every region’s contribution in creating the state’s identity; from Mahakaushal and Vindhya to Malwa and Bundelkhand.
3. Portrait of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi
We also honoured the vision and leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the drone fleet created his stunning portrait recognizing his commitment to driving India's global positioning, digital transformation, and technological growth. A moment that was loved by the audience.
4. Portrait of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
Next in we paid a tribute to the state leader, Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who was also in the crowd, witnessing the drone show. The cheers went as his portrait took over the sky showing us the people’s appreciation towards their CM. He has been a key part in the state’s tourism growth, rapid infrastructure development, cultural renaissance and agricultural reforms, especially under its new Vision 2047 roadmap that was unveiled at the event.
5. “अभ्युदय मध्यप्रदेश 2047”
This text-centric formation captured the night’s most emotional highlights which was the State’s pledge toward 2047. This coincided with India's centenary of independence. The illuminated expression अभ्युदय symbolized prosperity, awakening, and rising glorysetting the attitude for a transformative future.
6. Mahakal Temple
Madhya Pradesh’s spiritual pulse came alive as soon as the majestic form of the Mahakal Temple illuminated the night sky which was followed by the ethereal glow of Shivlinga and the aarti glow, motivating the crowd to roar with “Har Har Mahadev” chants. This sequence was a homage to the eternal City of Shiva of Ujjain evoking devotion, and divine reverence.
7. A Celebration of Madhya Pradesh’s Folk Art (Matki Dance, Dhol & Mandana)
The State’s culture moved gracefully into motion next. Our drones depicted the elegant movements of Matki dance, rhythmic beats of dhol, and traditional Mandana patterns embracing the age-old folk art that breathes life into the festivals of Madhya Pradesh. This section of our drone shows symbolized joy, rhythm, and community.
8. Leaping Tiger
How can we pay tribute to this state without dedicating any form to its rich wildlife? With world-famous wildlife sanctuaries like Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Pench in Madhya Pradesh, we paid tribute to its fauna with a formation of a powerful leaping tiger, representing the state that is known as the Tiger Capital of India.
9. State’s Agriculture
The next segments focused on the soil and people who cultivate it. Filled with vast farms, we paid salute to Madhya Pradesh’s farmers as tractors and fertile land appeared in the sky honouring the guardians of sustainability, grain, and rural prosperity. This formation stood proudly for the farms and agriculture is still the backbone of the state’s economy.
10. Industries & Invest MP Summit
This formation consisted of industrial silhouettes and the emblem of Invest MP Summit, showcasing the magnetism of the state for investment, manufacturing, and modern infrastructure. From energy parks to tech-based clusters and automotive hubs, Madhya Pradesh is quickly growing as the next business opportunity powerhouse.
11. State’s Smart Mobility
The next formation depicted the futuristic panorama - bullet-like trains, highways, and an aeroplane soaring ahead representing smart connectivity, transport, and infrastructure excellence. This was a poetic nod to the state accelerating towards an enhanced mobility and futuristic urban living.
12. "Jai Jawaan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyaan, Jai Anusandhan"
A tribute that is rooted in our national ethos. This display celebrated the nation’s protectors, the cultivators of land, scientists pushing boundaries, and researchers who are shaping India’s innovation journey. Courage, food security, tech, and discovery - all elevated together to acknowledge the people.
13. Dongla Observatory
The Stars met science as the Dongla Observatory was created in glowing precision in the dark sky. A lesser-known yet significant and historically rich scientific marvel, it represented centuries of astronomical heritage, and the academic legacy of the region.
14. Simhastha 2028
Announcing one of the most sacred future events, one of our drone formations also revealed the grand Ujjain Kumbh, Simhastha 2028. It was a reminder of calm unity, devotion, cultural magnetism and faith inviting millions around the globe to the beautiful ghats of Shipra River.
15. Prastuti of: विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, मध्यप्रदेश शासन
The final formation of the drone show included an honorary mention of the Government of Madhya Pradesh’s Department of Science & Technology, symbolizing their partnership, governance, and innovation that champions indigenous technology, digital progress and youth empowerment.
