BotLab Dynamics has officially entered the Middle East market through an exclusive partnership with Roadmap Events and Drone Shows. It is the biggest creative production and entertainment provider in Oman. This strategic collaboration marks a major milestone for our company in our ambition to expand our drone light show services to the GCC.

With ROADMAP’s experience in the entertainment industry, along with their regional insight merged with our drone show expertise, we are ready to transform celebrations in the Middle East through drone show entertainment.

The partnership was a result of the shared success of the Oman drone show we jointly executed using 3,000 drones on 11 January 2025, in Muscat, for the 5th Anniversary of Oman's Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s Accession Day. This was also BotLab Dynamics' first drone show in Oman. Our participation in the event helped us see the full potential of drone light shows in Oman combining scale, precision, and cultural resonance.

During ROADMAP's recent visit to India, they officially signed a contract with BotLab Dynamics. This formalised the collaboration - now exclusively launching full-scale drone show services in the Middle East.

Another major Step towards Global Expansion

Dubai (including the UAE more primary) has become a popular global hub for high-impact live entertainment. From government-led national celebrations to global brand launches, there has been a high demand for eccentric immersive experiences. Drone shows still sustaining on their novelty are seen as an emerging premier medium for achieving a magical spectacle, mixed with emotional storytelling and secured sustainability in one.

What makes the Gulf perfect for drone show expansion, is the region's tourism-driven spectacle, infrastructure maturity, and cultural orientation for creating memorable experiences. Whether it’s through destination events, summits, luxury weddings, brand activations, or national festivals, their appetite for drone light shows is rapidly growing.

Drone light show technology offers a clean, modern and reusable alternative to traditional fireworks that are aligned with the sustainability goals of the region.

Leading Dubai to become a proving ground for futuristic drone shows. And the neighbouring states of the Gulf - Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia - are ready to elevate their own celebrations in order to match this trend.

What the Middle East Expansion means for BotLab Drone Show

For us, the Middle East represents our most strategically important market expansions to date. This geography is an accelerator of creativity, scale, and cultural resonance.

  • Firstly, the Middle East's scale of large-format festivals, national celebrations, and brand spectacles is amongst the most enormous in the industry. Governments as well as corporations in the region are always on the lookout for ‘wow’ moments, and shows that deliver extraordinary experiences.
  • Plus, the Middle Eastern market also demands the best and highest quality, innovation and reliability. You have to offer the best services in the world in order to succeed in this region and we are absolutely ready to take on that challenge.
  • Thirdly, this market expansion model also allows BotLab to promote and carry ‘Made in India’ technology to a global stage. This will automatically reinforce our position in the market as the biggest international drone light show company.

Together with Roadmap Drone Show - our regional partner in Oman, we will deliver culturally tuned, bespoke, and technically advanced aerial shows that resonate with the Gulf audience. We already have a high demand for queries and have executed 12+ drone shows in the Middle East, gaining first-hand experience of permitting, regional logistics, audience dynamics, and choreography.

For example, this year we delivered 8 shows as part of a promotional campaign in Kuwait for the Ya Hala Festival using 1500 drones. This operational record of successfully executing these Kuwait drone shows gives us a strong foundation to scale bigger and further.

In Oman, in addition to the Sultan's Accession Day celebration, we have delivered 2 smaller drone shows, including a tourism show, and one promotional event for a brand. In Dubai, we have performed a high-end destination wedding at The Palm Raffles.

This also helped us explore and analyse the demand for luxury wedding drone shows in Dubai. Our partnership with ROADMAP will work towards building BotLab’s launchpad into a sustained presence here. By combining our technical mastery (flight software, drone fleets, safety protocols, animation, and choreography experience) with Roadmap Oman’s creative production capabilities, regional network and local experiences, we are 100% equipped to serve high-end private events and large-scale national celebrations including brand activations and festivals.

The Middle East’s event trajectory is moving upward with more brands entering the market, more festivals, more governments and tourism boards seeking drone show entertainment that delivers emotion and narrative all while creating a social-media impact. Drone shows are rapidly becoming the natural must-have choice for 21st-century entertainment in the Gulf. And with this partnership BotLab Dynamics is ready to lead this wave of change.
