- Main Building of the College

The prominent one of all the aerial formations was the outline of the main building of Mayo College. Hundreds of drones were used to create its arches and domes beautifully. The structure of the building had a golden halo behind it. This represented the hope and knowledge the institute offers.

- The Crest of the College

The one symbol every Mayoite carries with excessive pride is The Crest. Several drones pulled off this visual rendition with clean lines and a gentle pulse of light passing through it.

- Five-colored Pachranga Flag

The Pachranga Flag is one of the most important parts of the school’s identity. Multiple drones created a ripple animation effect mimicking the flag’s natural movement in the wind. The formation signified the unity of the diverse community of Mayo.

- The Clock Tower

The long history of the school was portrayed through the aerial formation of the famous clock tower of Mayo. The animation of the clock hands stopped at 12:00. This symbolised the timeless legacy of the school. The clock then rotated slightly revealing the formation in 3D perspective.

- Peacock Aerial Formation

Next, an elegant outline of the peacock is drawn in the sky. The feathers of the peacock started to unfold one by one creating a graceful wave. The animation was colorfully vibrant. The peacock is a prominent symbol in Mayo’s culture. This was considered to be one of the most visually pleasant formations of the night.

- Formation of a Milestone

In order to signify the journey of the school, the outline of the main building was morphed into the 150th Anniversary Mark. The animation clearly showed the growth of Mayo school while staying connected with its origins.

- The Mayo College Logo

All the elements from the previous formations were brought together to form the official Mayo College logo. The animation was bright and robust, and was able to evoke an emotional response in the audience.

Technology That Made it Happen

- Precision and Execution

BotLab Dynamics used its indigenous drones to create aerial formations with high precision. Every single drone had GPS capabilities which helped them to move in perfect harmony. This ensured highly accurate formations in the sky.

- Safety Protocols

All of the safety protocols were followed to avoid any mishap during the event. Drones used an in-house developed secure system to communicate with each other during the flight. Safety zones were also set to make the show happen safely in a school environment.

- High Luminosity for Clear Visuals

The LEDs used in drones were super bright, making visuals look clear even from a distance. The spectators were spread across the campus. Having high luminosity LEDs ensured that the show could be watched clearly from anywhere.
